"My greeting on arrival was informal, but the room very nice and clean, heating was very and not too good."

"The description says 'secure, on-site parking'. This is a lie. When asking the caretaker of the property, she looked confused, said there is no parking included, but that we could park on the street if we could find a bay. There is a multi-story that you can pay to park in a short walk away. So don't expect secure on site parking. Otherwise, standard issue guest house - thin walls, thin mattresses and run down, but clean and cheap. The code to get back in didnt work which was a pain. The caretaker was lovely."

"Staying at St Benedict's is an exceptional experience. Astonishing period decoration takes you to a different era. Well located, excellent breakfast, the bathroom was period too (no shower in ours) - but worth the compromise. So much to look at and enjoy, magical, and a fascinating garden. A worthwhile mini-adventure."

"Wonderful spacious house, in an ideal location.Comfy beds, great family spaces in lounge and kitchen and room to spread out. There were six of us, and it didn't feel crowded.All the showers were lovely and powerful, and the three toilets across the floors made things very easy for all of us.Great communication with the host (Taryn) who responded to any queries quickly.Easy to find off road parking close to the location."

"Beautifully presented artistic maisonette in the heart of St Leonards. Just perfect for our requirements! Great we could bring our dog with the beach so close and St Leonard’s Gardens too. Highly recommend this for a family or group looking for accommodation which is well equipped, in good order and super clean. Correspondence all very clear."
