"This is a good spot / hotel for value and a cute Asian community minutes to the 7 train which takes you direct to Manhattan or Wilett Point for USTA - US Open or Mets baseball - also a 15 minute walk to either of those. The bones of the hotel were low budget… that said, it is clean and convenient and they put out a very good basic breakfast which would cost $15 - $20 at Denny’s. My concern was “safe neighbourhood” and I had no issue / anxiety with that.. of course be wise walking in areas at night."

"staff was so kind. stayed here when my friend and I went to the governor’s ball and it wasn’t too far from the park it was held at. A nice walk! Lots of different options nearby for places to eat at and just walk around and shop or just window shop!! Would definitely come back :))"

"Due to a flight delay I had to get another night on about 12hrs notice, they gave it to me at the same rate as my original booking a month before arriving, instead of charging me the day of rate which is much higher. The shower head broke and they fixed it right away. There’s a good quality washer and dryer here which is very convenient. The Indian restaurant a block away is fantastic, there’s a 7/11 open 24hrs next door to that. There’s other good food nearby and quick access to the beaches of Long Island. Traffic and road construction make getting to Manhattan an hour long drive. It’s a bit noisy being a busy small hotel but overall it’s a great deal. This hotel is very safe but it’s in Jamaica queens so always use common sense when walking the streets here. Everyone I’ve met has been friendly and the police presence has been consistent on this part of rockaway blvd. It’s a good hotel for families that wanna be super close to the airport for short stays. I’d recommend it for 1-2 night stays when traveling. If you wanna explore NYC it’s not ideal being so far from city center"
