I had an AMAZING stay at Banica apartments. The location is very central and the view from the terrace is beautiful. The room was very clean and the staff was also very helpful. Overall would recommend for a great stay in Split.

Owner was very nice and helpful. Can’t beat the location. Like others have said it can get loud in the weekends but we brought a little white noise machine and that fixed that. Such a cool place to stay with two terraces! I hope I can visit again one day.

Centrally located. Bright and cheerful with two amazing roof patios and full shared kitchen. We received a warm welcome upon our arrival. The only complaint was that the hot water wasn’t available when we arrived and, even once it was turned on, was warm rather than hot for our shower. Would recommend staying here for anyone looking to be in the centre of the old town.

We had a small apartment at Banica rather than a room. The apartment and its furnishings were pleasantly quaint and totally met our needs. We had a sink, fridge, and cooktop in the apartment, but few tools to use them. The cool part was that there was a terrace above with a communal area with more food preparation materials available. So we borrowed knives, bowls, and cutlery and brought them to the apartment as needed. Worked just fine. We were close to the Diocletian square in old town and everything was readily and easily available. Our host was attentive and responsive to our requests and provided an excellent experience for us. Happy to recommend this property.

We really enjoyed the stay. The room was comfortable, the terrace and kitchen facilities were excellent and the atmosphere was so chill. The staff was really helpful with everything we needed help with. Also situated right in the center so it was so easy to get around on foot. Highly recommend staying at Banica!

Great split old town stay

Fantastic stay, the roof terrace & shared kitchen were a great option that we used everyday. Luca & Petar were great hosts making sure we were informed of everything. We booked the private taxi pickup through them which was excellent & very convenient as one of the Banico team met us & helped with our luggage.

A nice quaint place to stay. Thankfully Luka was there to help us with our luggage up the 82 steps to our room. Great location in the old town. Coffee machine in the kitchen by the roof top patio is nice but if you want coffee in your room, bring instant as there is a kettle. Be prepared to awaken to church bells.

Wonderful location in old town. Ivan was incredibly friendly and helpful. He sent me a great guide for Split (including restaurant recommendations) and even helped me look at ferry schedules for a day trip.

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment. Luc is very helpful and kind. The room is spacious and comfortable. Really appreciated the rooftop balcony and the kitchen for making coffee. The apartment is perfectly situated in the heart of the old town.

Great room in the center of town! Lovely view from the communal terrace! Caution if you don’t like stairs or a bit of town noise, but perfect if you would like to stay in the middle of the old town of Split- which is gorgeous.

Great place to stay in old split city if you like to stay mostly around that area and take boat tours. Close to restaurants, green market, Riva, beaches and many tours. Center of old city and a bit nosiy at night because of the bars nearby. Bed is comfortable and size of room was standard and basic amenities. The terrace was a nice shared space to sit and relax to have coffee in the morning and have an overview of the city. Only little hiccup was that the showerhead fell off but was fixed and resolved within an hour.
