My cousin and I booked a package holiday which cost around £630 for the two of us yet we couldn't get the most requirement of the stay... hot water.
What really annoyed me was that fact that every time I would shower less than ten minutes in, and the water would turn cold.
When I initially questioned this, I was asked to wait an hour and that the water would be hot again.
Anyway this happened a few times, water is a basic anemity that should be available hot when needed.
When I questioned the cold water again, the landlord sent someone down in our absence to check the boiler, which I didn't feel comfortable with as we had our belongings there.
Apparently there was nothing wrong. When I pushed for more answers I asked
"Do you have a timer on the hot water?"
I was met with the following response:
"Yes maybe it could be a limit on 10/15 min which is more than enough for a shower"
Followed up with:
"It a limit in amount od water in boiler heater its not that we put a limitation in minutes."
Now I know how boilers work and I've seen their boiler. It is not one in which water is stored. It's is one that keeps the water hot.
I'm sorry but nobody should be deciding how long I should be showering especially as a paying customer.
I only booked this specific apartment due to the raving reviews, although the location is good we had to travel 4 hours on coach to the National park. So it is a bit further out than expected with not much to do it you don't drink.
