Hotel Casa Iguana Mismaloya

"I stayed for 18 days this time with different members of my family coming during my visit. We absolutely love this place. The staff are all kind and friendly . They are like family to me. The rooms and walkways are kept so clean and the grounds are maintained beautifully. We enjoy especially the Aguachile and Arrachera from the restaurant. The hamburgers are so much better than home. The beach is just a few minutes walk away with some tiendas up the street and an OXXO nearly in the lobby. If you want to take the bus into PV it will cost you about 11 pesos and the last one leaves about 10:15 to return to Mismaloya. I am looking forward to returning soon!"

"The beach is the back yard of this building. There is an open 12hrs restaurant bar by the pool. A laundry room and mini market are available too. Public buses from malecon to mismaloya stop here. The studio has a king bed and a sofa bed. It can fit 4 people comfortable. Entrance and cleaning fee are charged at check in."

"You can not a better vacation house. This is the second time our large family of 19 stayed at the house. You can not beat the pool on the beautiful beach. The staff are absolutely amazing. They take care of you- it’s a true vacation. Two meals a day, no dish duty, a pitchers of margaritas brought to the pool side for the adults and pins colada for the kids. House has plenty of room and all the walls are thick so you don’t hear every noise. They help help arrange everything you need from transfers, in house massages, and excursions. It is just magical. Can’t wait to go back again. We also had a medical emergency with a family member when we were there. The staff helped get the ambulance and even rode with us to help translate. They truly take care of you and will be forever grateful to them."

"Wow, this was a trip of a lifetime! Absolutely everything was perfect. The pictures don’t do this home justice-it is ten times more stunning in person. It is so comfortable, beautiful and every detail is well thought out. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Fide, the chef, was phenomenal. Everything she made was a perfect. Rogelio was so helpful and attentive. I can’t remember the other ladies name but she was fantastic as well. The owner of the home is so responsive and friendly. The location is amazing, it’s so close to many of the attractions we were interested in. I honestly can’t say enough good things. It was such a beautiful property we even had a family photo shoot on the property. I recommend it to everyone and hope I can come back some day."

"Villa Ventura was the perfect setting for the vacation of my dreams! From our first walk down the stairs, I knew it would be beyond what we imagined from the photos. Every night we fell asleep to the sound of the waves and every morning we woke up to the smell of an amazing breakfast prepared by the incredible Chef Beto. Danny and Daniel made sure the house ran smoothly and we didn’t have a single worry. Afternoons were spent laughing by the pool as Danny created the most perfect piña coladas and prepped for another phenomenal meal. All the while, Rosario and Alicia made the house sparkle! Planning was so easy with the help of Nora and Patricia. And don’t forget to schedule a service with Jaz and the expert spa team. With town only a few moments away, we had plenty of options for shopping or a night out—but it was hard to leave the luxury of this PERFECT villa. If you are considering a stay, DO IT! Villa Ventura is truly a magical place."

"We love this hotel and have stayed here three times. We deeply regret their decision to become an all inclusive this Spring. Puerto Vallarta is a great place to go out to eat and enjoy the town, we are not interested in staying in the hotel all the time or paying for food we wont eat. I hope they reconsider this decision, we would return if they did."

"This house is incredible! From the rooms, to the pool, to the waterfront location, everything was perfect. What truly makes this an exceptional place to stay is the staff. From the moment we walked in the door Marco, Luis and Suzy made us feel welcome and relaxed. They were kind and very accommodating. I can’t recommend this house enough!"
