"Good food and excellent service."

"I think the hotel is pretty,i like the rustic feel and furniture of the lounge/restaurant area. However the bedroom and bathroom can do with a modern , colourful, light and airy renovation. The bathroom is outdated ,I think they can update this. The staff can improve by being a bit more welcoming, friendly and warm. "Staff were lovely and incredibly attentive- nothing too much trouble. Amazing breakfast selection- all fresh and cooked to order. Big room - well maintained- lovely view to garden - we were in Camilla. 10 mins into town but situated in countryside near parks, historic houses and museums. Easy reach for James Cook Hospital. Lovely country house hotel - obviously newly created in beautiful Edwardian house. We will be back"

"Everything is great, you even have tea, coffee , hot chocolate , milk, sugar and chocolates on the pillows. Very professional in every way and so helpful and thoughtful"
