Walk to the beach or take your bike and hop on the confederation trail for miles of beautifully cared for Trails that spans the whole Island. Enjoy the wifi and TV on raining days. Our stay in Souris was absolutely beautiful, we wish it could have been longer and would be back in a heartbeat. Stunning property in a great location and Liza and her husband were very helpful and responsive hosts. Great campfire and neighbouring chickens for the kids to visit :) Beach right down the road and close to Basin Head, we would spend more time on the East side of the Island when planning our trip again.

Our stay was Great. The house was clean, beds were comfortable. The location was great. We were close to grocery store, Tim Hortons and the most beautiful beach (Basin Head). The owner was more than happy to share some good places to eat, activities with the kids, and beaches to visit. She was always quick to respond. All around it was a great place to stay.

It may seem hokey to have all six criteria rated a 5, but this cottage exceeded all expectations. It was comfortable with privacy and plenty of space and a nice view. The porch on one side was completely private, mostly due to a hedge that blocked the distant road. When we mentioned to the owners one morning that the kitchen was missing a few things (like a peeler, a measuring cup, etc.), they brought the items over before lunch! And it is only about 1 km to town and what certainly must be among PEI's best oysters.

Gorgeous cottage with lots of space for a large family of 6. Loved the outdoor shower to wash away the salt and sand after a day at the beach. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. Air conditioner worked well to cool the main floor in minutes. Kitchen was well equipped to prep most meals. Home is located minutes from Souris beach and lighthouse.Host was very kind and close by if you are in need of anything.
