"Great location, staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast buffets were delightful!
Just be aware of dated facilities, like others have mentioned. "
"Staff is very polite and professional. However, the place it has only one indoor bath and nothing really impressive but is nice for staying if you just want to rest."

"For a hostel, K’s place gets 10/10. I would rate it higher if I could. While it’s not fancy, at this price point, within walking distance to the Asahadake Ropeway, it’s a great deal. K’s Place completely exceeded our expectations. The staff were friendly and informative, giving us a tour, explaining the Onsen, communal kitchen and all their amenities. It’s a very homey feeling. There is a giant comfortable lounge and eating area, 3-4 communal fridges, multiple cooking areas completely stocked with all utensils needed, free coffee/tea, 24 hour onsens, game room, and more. We even had a private room (king size bed) with private toilet and sink. We didn’t need a shower because of the great Onsen on the ground floor. Plenty of showers in the Onsen too. They even supply soap and shampoo, towels, lockers. I would definitely return. Thanks for a wonderful stay! "
"It's conveniently located directly across the street from Asahikawa Station. There is also a Lawson convenience store and shopping mall in front of the rail station."
"Friendly service and good hot natural onsen with nice, great assortment of dishes for dinner and breakfast buffet. The room is nice clean and bed is comfortable. very fast wifi. Everything went well and exceeded expectations"
"Check-in was fast and the staff was friendly. The room was spacious and clean. However, the tempurature in the room was too warm and I wasn't able to get the AC working so I had to leave a window slightly open to cool down. This might be because the hotel is in the mountains, so there was a big difference in outdoor and indoor tempurature that I didn't adjust to. Anyways, it's a walkable distance from the Asahidake Ropeway, and there's a short marsh hiking path nearby. It's a long drive to the hotel, so I would mainly recommend it if you want to go to hiking on Mount Asahidake."
