"Really enjoyed the stay! The transport accessibility is convenient, even though takes one hour to most of the attractions. Super comfortable mattresses. Appreciate shortbread and water refill each day. Delicious breakfast with cheese/meat, freshly baked croissant and menu choice for egg plates. Starts 6.30 weekdays and 7.30 weekends. Restaurant available in the backyard. I wish there was lotion available. Room might need light refurbishing."

"Very well looked after from check in to check out. Arrived during a busy dinner service yet staff were very attentive seeing us to our room in no time. The room was very cozy with plenty of little touches to make the guest feel valued. Great choice of drinks in the bar and a top class pub food menu. "The room was very small, and the bigger problem is that it gets extremely hot during the day. There's no air conditioning, and the windows only open partway, so there's no way to cool the room down or get proper airflow. I didn't sleep well the whole stay. Housekeeping was also a letdown — the towels had stains on them and hair, so I ended up drying myself with napkins. That's not something you expect at any price point. On the positive side, the front desk staff were genuinely helpful and friendly every time I dealt with them. The location is pleasant too, though be aware there's no underground station nearby, so factor in extra walking or taxi costs. If you're visiting outside the summer months and don't mind a compact room, it might work. In the heat, I'd look elsewhere."
