Sitka is a beautiful place and this is the perfect place to stay. It's clean, comfortable and has everything, including a great restaurant. The location is central to everything and the staff are absolutely the best.

With an older hotel charm, our stay was very clean and comfortable. It felt very homey but quality. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! One tiny sadness was that there did not seem to be any attempt to make or keep refilled complimentary coffee in the lobby.

The stay was very good. The bathroom would be good it the toilet was bigger. We loved the view but would have been better if we were at the top floor.

Nice hotel, rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. No microwave in room or breakfast included are a downside and only ice machine was broken but staff were happy to get ice for me.

This was a pleasant surprise- front desk staff upgraded us to a suite with views of both harbor and mountains when we told them it was my partner’s birthday. All staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Bed was extremely comfortable with lots of pillows and soft sheets. Location is right in the downtown area near all restaurants, shops, and public transit yet quite quiet. Our 3 night stay was excellent! Facility could use an update, but it was absolutely fine for us especially with the spacious room and king sized bed. Smart tv was a plus.

Pickup at airport by hotel shuttle was excellent. Staff was friendly and efficient at check-in. The room, while very clean, was quite dated and smelled a bit strange but with the window open was much better. The bed was very nice and comfortable! Unfortunately, there was no hot water in the morning and so I was forced to wash as best I could with cold water. When reported to the front desk they simply said ‘sorry about that’ and that they were trying to get it fixed. No offer of a discount or some other concession, which would typically have been offered by a hospitality-focused hotel. The hot water was fixed by the end of the day and worked fine for the next two days. All in all, the accommodations were fine so long as expectations aren’t for anything other than a serviceable room.

Hotel needs an update. Bathroom fan attached to lighting and made constant noise. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Great location for hitting the major sights.

Five stars!

I am a germaphobe when it comes to hotel rooms and I was pleasantly surprised how CLEAN my room was! The carpet was the biggest joy for me as I didn’t feel the need to keep my feet covered like I have in other hotels. It seemed like they really took care of everything I could need, wouldn’t change a thing!
