We recently stayed at the St Nicholas Boutique Hotel for one night and had a wonderful experience. The room was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of comfort and room to relax. In the morning, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and the perfect start to our day.
A special shout-out to Brush, who makes the absolute best Porn Star Martinis at the bar!
Throughout our entire stay, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. We loved our short time here and will definitely be returning for a longer stay in the future. Highly recommended!
Beautiful period building, manager so friendly and helpful! Staff lovely too. Very convenient to our needs in visiting Shrewsbury. Bed very comfy and wonderful ftreshly cooked breakfast. Will definitely go back.
Quirky boutique hotel in a great location - convenient for the station and the town centre. Clean, comfortable room, slept very well. Excellent cooked breakfast for £12, highly recommended.

Well what can i say, the very best thing about the hotel are the staff absolutely fantastic, treated to fantastic service from them all .The evening meal was exceptional. Will stay again
Quirky, historic property with a comfortable room and amazing views. I missed the memo about checking-in before 8pm but the staff couldn’t have been nicer. Would stay again.
This is a unique hotel in an old church conveniently close to Shrewsbury train station, shops, restaurants, and attractions. Everything in the room was new and in good condition- the mini fridge with free refreshments was an appreciated bonus. Service was great, and personal.
What a lovely place to stay great location, we had a lovely room with a lovely view of the library, our room had a a king size bed, and lovely fresh bedding, and very clean spacious room with sofa area, we will be back very impressed. Loved the stone spiral staircase. The staff were all very friendly.
We had a lovely little stay at this property, staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. A converted church which was pretty cool. Parking was a bit tricky as there was an event on but probably not a problem during a normal stay.
The staff are friendly and helpful. The building is rather old but full of character and with a lovely decor. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the station, very convenient. One thing to be aware of is that they don't start serving breakfast until 8.30am – something to keep in mind if you're planning an early start.
I never leave reviews as I travel for work and live in hotels most of the week. This hotel however was outstanding! one of the nicest rooms ive stayed in and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend
My daughter and I stayed for 1 night as we were attending performances at the nearby theatre. The hotel was lovely and we were lucky enough to have what a couple of the staff described as the 'best room'. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was a little soft for my liking, although still comfortable. All staff we encountered were wonderful, so friendly and helpful. The small amount of food we had was a hit, especially with my daughter! We would definitely stay here again.
Fantastic customer service. I’ve been at many hotels and the customer service at st Nicholas is far the best. They went far & above my expectations to get me settled and comfortable- highly recommend.
