"Before we arrived, Doug sent us clear directions to the accommodation and shared some great tips on activities and things to do in the area.We travelled with our six-year-old doodle, and being dog people, we loved being greeted by Doug’s two Bernese Mountain Dogs when we arrived! Doug showed us around the accommodation, explained everything we needed to know, and was very warm and welcoming. The dogs got along wonderfully, and our kids especially enjoyed spending time with them.The accommodation itself was very clean, comfortable, and incredibly peaceful, surrounded by beautiful greenery with a lovely view of the lake below.We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend Doug’s place, especially for families travelling with a dog. We would happily stay here again!"

"Suite was very clean, and organized.There was a very well put together informational guide for local eateries and sights. All amenities were available including, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent and dryer sheets.Tiffany responded almost immediately to any questions that we had.It is very close to some shopping and even for a Timmys morning run.There are several types of accommodations available from a suite, to a studio and a house (depending on the number of guests.We were here for a wedding at the prestige, and this accommodation was not even 10 minutes away, and gave us our own privacy and comfort away from the hotel.Highly recommend this, and if we are ever back in sooke, we will definitely be looking at staying here again."

"Nice place to stay, the only thing I was disappointed in was the Hot water, I was on the 2nd floor and I had to run the Hot water for so long just for it to warm up , I could have had a shower and then some b4 the Hot water started to come, Then it never did get hot. Lots to see around the farm, great place for the kids."
