"Overall, the property was very nice and was as described in the listing. We enjoyed our stay and found the space comfortable.Communication was a little difficult, although some of that appeared to be an issue with the Vrbo app. Unfortunately, I had to reach out to the host three separate times before receiving the information needed to enter the property because the messages through the app were not coming through.The biggest concern was the washing machine. Laundry wasn’t a necessity for our short stay, but when we went to use it, we found that the seal was covered in mold and had a very strong odor, making the machine unusable. This definitely needs some attention for future guests.One small suggestion would be to add a few hooks to the bathroom walls for hanging and drying towels, clothing, etc. There wasn’t much space available for those items.Aside from those issues, the property itself was very nice, matched the description, and we had an enjoyable stay."

"Our family thoroughly enjoyed our week at this home!Everything in the description is exactly as you will find it. We loved the service for 12 for our home cooked breakfasts and dinners. A rare find - 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - made getting ready easy. We were just a short walk to both Island Cruises (highly recommend) and Seafood Ketch restaurant. There was plenty to do on the couple of rainy mornings we had - puzzles, games, and movies.Communication with Bob was very timely and efficient. Any question we had was promptly answered before and during our stay. This is an excellent choice for our family and we would stay again."

"We had a wonderful 3 weeks at Fiona’s cottage. It was bright, clean and super comfortable. The kitchen was supplied sufficiently to allow for several meals cooked in. The location was minutes to our favorite spots including Sw Harbor, Seawall and Little Long pond. Would definitely stay there again."

"We absolutely loved this house in Bass Harbor. We were there with our daughter, son-in-law and 3-year old granddaughter. Our granddaughter loved the double bunk bed room and loved climbing the ladders (with supervision). The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The adjacent dining room is large and convenient. We loved the transitions between the rooms with half walls and white painted woodwork. We spent time on the front porch and back deck. We had great weather while we were there and enjoyed sleeping with open windows. All 5 of us agreed that when we come back to Mount Desert Island, we’d like to stay here again."
