"First off, Eric our host was great! As a VRBO host myself I’ve learned some great ideas! Second, the location worked perfectly. At first it seemed isolated but it was refreshingly quiet and cozy. We were just minutes away to a Ferry that was important to us meeting up with family. Grocery was near by, SW Harbor for restaurants and shopping. I also recommend NE Harbor and the Nor’easter for fresh seafood at reasonable prices. The also hiked in Acadia just a short walk away which was a fabulous plus! Thirdly, the property and unit were immaculate! We took advantage of the grill and cornhole on our last evening and it was super fun! Definitely will return!!"

"If you’re looking for rustic, romantic, relaxing —— this place is perfect! We were very comfortable and enjoyed this place immensely. It’s not pristine and the bed could be better, but it was a reasonable tradeoff for a wonderful view, great fireplace, cozy furnishings, and total privacy."

"The house was gorgeous! So many fantastic amenities (we were particularly fond of the ice maker), the furniture was comfortable & beautiful, the views from the various decks & porches were great. We couldn’t have been happier or more satisfied with the house. You can tell the owners take great pride in it, and have put a lot of time & effort into making a house you’ll feel comfortable & relaxed in. The location is within walking distance of a lovely beach & literally right around the corner from an entrance into Acadia National Park. We can’t recommend the house enough! "This was conveniently located 15 minutes from Bar Harbor on the south side of Acadia National Park. The property is an upstairs apartment and is very clean with ample amenities. The best grocery store options are in Ellsworth, so load up there prior to entering Mount Desert island. We enjoyed being apart from the hustle and bustle of Bar Harbor yet having easy access to Acadia. Your hosts make check in a breeze and are very responsive. We enjoyed cycling on the carriage roads, sea kayaking, exploring the coast line, and even spent time in Southwest Harbor at the Wonderland trail and Beal’s lobster shack. I would definitely recommend this property!"
