"I had one complaint & that was there was dog mess in the car park far corner which was obviously old & some had been trodden in. Otherwise the room was clean, quite spacious & plenty of tea & coffee. The bathroom was clean & tidy with plenty of fresh towels. The breakfast was delicious & the staff were extremely friendly. "

"Tumbleweed Cottage is a beautiful hidden jem that myself and Kay will be visiting frequently for many years to come , Shaan and Sef made us feel so welcome and so comfortable with our stay we wished we could've booked for longer, The Rooms are beautiful with fabulous views of the garden . Breakfast was amazing and Sef's fresh summer fruit yoghurts are just scrumptious, We will be back again with our children (dogs) and walk through the village, May the Force be with You "

The apartment we stopped in is definitely getting a little tired with a few repairs required however it has everything you want and nothing you don’t need. "It does what it sets out to be very well. Access arrangements were easy and effective, a code. Sent by text for a numbered key safe, and the property spotless. Plenty of good parking. Room large enough for a short stay and with enough shelving for the purpose. Plenty of power points. Bathroom small but very good and an excellent shower with complimentary body wash etc. The only change we would suggest is that for cold nights, a thicker duvet would be good as even with the extra throws...

"I had a lovely stay at the Best Western Plus West Retford Hotel. The grounds are beautiful and the historic building adds a lot of charm. My room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent—fresh and well-prepared. Only downside was the breakfast, which felt a bit basic compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Would definitely return!"
