Paul and Sophie were absolutely wonderful! The room was charming, comfortable, quiet, and close to our event. And the made-to-order breakfasts were fantastic. A great start to the day. Our best 'B and B' experience on Expedia by far!

Beautiful B&B

Beautiful Victorian property, loving restored, yet retaining some original period features, the owners definitely got the balance of new & old spot on . The Hosts are super helpful & friendly, go above & beyond to ensure your stay in stunning English countryside is memorable. The cooked to order breakfast was delicious, freshly squeezed orange juice was a real treat. Highly recommend this quaint B&B

A home from home

Paul and Sophie were the consumate hosts. Attentive without being over bearing. The property is in first class order with everything you could need for a perfect quiet stay. The breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked to order every day. As we have family in the area, we have always struggled to find good accommodation but Lynedene ticked all the boxes!! We will most definitely be back. This will be our number one go to in the area.

Top class

It was a Beautiful quiet location . The Hosts were very friendly and welcoming . We loved Sky there Border Collie . The accommodation was Excellent and very clean and tidy . The room and on suite were well presented . Breakfast was excellent and there was more on offer than we could eat . They had some lovely Art work around the house which they both had done . Will definitely go again .

A Perfect Bed and Breakfast

The Lyndene is the perfect B&B in a small Yorkshire town. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and the king suite in the attic was decorated to a high standard. The bed was very comfy as well and we will definitely be staying there again on our next visit to Penistone.

This was a lovely place to stay. Very clean, comfortable, stylish and the hosts were very happy to help with any question we had. Breakfast was very good and cooked to time requested. When back in Penistone I would definitely stay again.

Lyndene B & B

Had a great two-day stay at Lyndene B & B when travelling for a family wedding. The room was ideal for our needs and Paul was a great host, from the effort put in to make each breakfast exactly how we wanted it to sharing helpful tips about the village and wedding venue, helpinp our trip go smoothy. Excellent stay in Penistone

Paul and Sophie were amazing hosts. We had a very clean, recently decorated room on the top floor. Very private, quiet and well maintained. I will gladly stay there again for the comfort and convenience. I’d highly recommend staying here and can only thank them for making us feel welcome and giving us recommendations on where to eat and drink.

A small B&B with a big heart.

Our host, Paul was very welcoming. The house was spotlessly clean and the rooms we saw were nicely decorated. Our bedroom was comfortable and relaxing. Our en-suite shower room provided a great range of bathroom essentials. We both had a great night's sleep. Our breakfasts were ordered in advance but cooked fresh whilst we indulged in cereals, fruit juices and yogurt. Our cooked breakfast was substantial and included veggie options. Tea, coffee and toast set us up for the day in beautiful countryside.

We were made to feel very welcomb and everything was pristine. Certainly an accommodation to recommend. The bedroom was immaculate and we had a good nights sleep. If there was any little point to make. We needed to find somewhere to have an evening meal. Where we went was quite adequate and out in the countryside but a small visitors book recommending places would be nice.

Great, clean and friendly b&b

Everything was a great and a decent size family room. Breakfast was good. Fab to have us all together. Only downside was low ceilings as we were in the attic. No fault of the B&B, just a heads up if you're tall, and a bath with a handheld shower attachment as ceilings not tall enough for a shower.
