"Breakfast was a poor experience. Few options and muffins seemed a little old. Staff was excellent and friendly. This motel was just finishing the heavy use through the summer season. So there were a couple of items in the bathroom that needed replacing. We asked the staff, and the issues were fixed within two hours. All-and-all, I was quite happy with that. The location is beautiful and the grounds are well maintained."

"Well appointed hotel, professional staff. Was offered a first floor room upon arrival, no elevator. We had booked 2 queen beds, the change to a first floor room ended up with 2 full size beds, my mistake for not thinking to ask about this detail before we switched. Things worked out fine. Hot tub and pool were clean and not over chlorinated. Breakfast was adequate and met immediate needs, there are not a tremendous number of places open for breakfast in the area. This is our favorite hotel in the area. Suggestion: at other places we have stayed throughout the U.P. there was a free popcorn machine. We find it to be a real value add."

"The room was clean and comfortable. The faucet was really hard to turn on and off. There really wasn't a kitchen. There was refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot and sink. Beautiful scenic property overlooking the bay. The decor was dated but overall it was good."

"This adorable log cabin was spacious with plenty of room to hang out with a large group in the family room and bar / kitchen area. The cabin is situated near Munising, Pictured Rocks, waterfalls and trails. There is a restaurant right down the road that has good food and a lively atmosphere. We would definitely stay again!"
