"I called a few days ahead of our stay to let them
Know that my daughter was celebrating her 16th birthday on that day and if they could do anything special for this. They said they couldn’t as they only provide champagne for adults and they are very busy so won’t have time. I suggested maybe a small card and a few chocolates just as a welcome gesture. He sighed and seemed annoyed I had pushed the point.
When we arrived I noticed the carpets in bedrooms were very obviously stained and worn out....
"We were made very welcome by John and hadall we needed for a very comfortable stay with our two dogs. There were lots of little touches that added to our good experience-including welcome bags for each dog and more than adequate continental breakfast. We would highly recommend a d stay again. "The proprietors have thought absolutely everything, full range of teas, two wine glasses complete with suitable snacks, comfortable beds, a spacious shower, lovely garden and the most extensive breakfast menu we've ever seen.
The only downside for us was that we got the last and smallest room. There was only room for one chair in the narrow space around the kingsized bed. In the end we bought a folding chair in from our car but still had to sit either side of the bed!
Everything would be fine...
