Top Seahouses Golf Club Hotel Reviews
Beach House Hotel
8/10 Good
"Good location, helpful friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Room looks nice but no window was a disappointment (skylight in roof but no view outside). Also this meant bathroom had very musty smell. Main issue we had was no hot water in the evening. We cycled to the hotel as part of a long distance cycling tour and then went on a boat trip to Holy Island which was quite cold and rainy so had been really looking forward to a hot shower. Reception were very apologetic and even gave me the key to another room to try that shower but it was also tepid. We paid £200 for the night so hot water should have been plentiful. I’m sure a room with a sea view and a hot shower and this place would be five star."
The Olde Ship Inn
8/10 Good
"Just one night in the 2bed bungalow but thoroughly enjoyed our stay . The bungalow was clean and comfortable, the pub is great , the staff very helpful and friendly and very tasty breakfast"
The Bamburgh Castle Inn - The Inn Collection Group
10/10 Excellent
"The position of the hotel is super and we took advantage of the nearness to the harbour by taking 2 trips out round the the farce islands and visited holy island by boat too The staff were very helpful and the parking facilities were limited but we were lucky to find a space and the car stayed put for the 3 days we were there The breakfast was excellent with good choice of hot or cold and gave you a good start to the day and the evening meals were varied and good quality Fortunately the weather was also excellent and we really did enjoy our trip to the north east"
Gorgeous cosy Fisherman's cottage in Seahouses, Northumberland
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage is in a great location with easy access to the town, beaches, coastal walks, boat trips etc, and has its own parking space - the entrance is a little tight but we managed to get through in a 7-seater van. The area is family friendly with lots to do within a short distance and we would recommend the Milk and Honey ice cream parlour in Seahouses! The host was friendly and answered all queries quickly. The only small niggle was the wifi connection - it is shared and the house has a booster box (with the router located in another property). It was fine most of the time but there was sometimes not enough bandwidth for streaming services in the evening.Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the house."
Harbour Cottage Seahouses
10/10 Excellent
"Very nice and clean property, beach only a minute away. Only slight issue is the parking, it suits a smaller family car as quite tight. That being said we have an Audi Q5 which fitted in the space but was very tight. Would definitely recommend property."
Seaside House, ideally located on the edge of the coastal village of Seahouses
10/10 Excellent
"10/10. Excellently presented, immaculate cottage with everything one could need. Really quiet area and you can see the sea from the cottage.Friendly neighbours too. Very close to spectacular views and a short walk to the local village with touristy shops and a co-op. Russell got in touch soon after booking with lots of great recommendations of sites to see in the area, as well as providing many leaflets on site. Great castles with family-friendly activities, beaches and fishing trips. We caught mackerel and cod! Holy Island is unique and not to be missed. Highly recommended in every regard. Thank you for a superb stay."
