"Francesca was extremely responsive and considerate. . She even provided an air conditioner for the bedroom, even though the profile stated that there was no air-conditioning, since we had extraordinary heat and humidity in La Jolla the week we were there. Definitely saved our visit."

"Very cute boutique hotel but historic. If you don’t go in hoping for the Ritz, I think you’ll fall in love with this little gem of an ocean side hotel. The room was large with a separate bedroom, living room and kitchenette and had the most spectacular ocean view. The property was well maintained, clean and walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, bars and great shopping. The lobby offered 24/7 complimentary beverages (sodas, waters and juices) and snacks. There is also a nice wine and beer selection for purchase. The complimentary breakfast (buffet) was well done. Staff was very friendly and helpful. In the building across from the lobby is a rooftop terrace that was perfect for sipping cocktails at sunset. The Pentai Inn is our new favorite spot in Downtown La Jolla. We look forward to going back!"
