Heart of downtown, next to the mall and coors event centre. Location is amazing.
Building is an older character building and the rooms are really spacious. Hallways too!
We really enjoyed this hotel. Small but nice continental breakfast, everything was clean, very friendly and helpful staff, plus comfy beds.
The adjacent pub was pretty decent as well!
Beautiful historic hotel. The room although small, was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and Winston's English pub ( on site) had amazing food!
The staff were amazingly helpful, friendly, and lovely. The antique bones of the hotel are great, including touches like exposed brick in the bathroom; this could be a very nice boutique hotel - and it still is nice- but it needs a little updating and TLC at this point (and ideally not a noisy boozy smelling pub attached, but to each their own I guess; i get that Winston’s is considered an epic staple in Saskatoon). Some noise proofing from the busy downtown street would help a lot too. Overall it had character and charm, met our needs well, was pet friendly and safe, well located downtown close to the river, and we very much enjoyed our stay.
There wasn't much room in the parking lot, but it was secure, which was nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but well-balanced enough. I loved the ambiance of the older building.
The property clean, the staff was helpful and the room was good. This is a old property so it has charm but it also has quirks. The parking in the back is small but adequate. The breakfast was basic but decent. Overall it was a decent stay at a low price. It's right downtown so there is the feel of security but the location is great if you like to be close to the action. It was also only 5 minutes from U of S which is why I was there.
Staff was wonderful. The hotel itself has character. It is the oldest hotel, I believe, and one of the staff members was telling me about its story. 1908 it was built. The hallway is very spacious. Convenient location downtown.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The Senator is a historic hotel in Saskatoon. Terrific location, the rooms are quite satisfactory. Winston's is excellent.
The hotel's character takes you back in time. The staff is friendly and kind and treat my dog as if he was a guest of honour. Enjoy our time here each visit. The onsite resteraunt is classy and well managed. Great food.
Lack of ventilation in bath/shower room caused rust and mould on walls, ceiling and fixtures. Pub staff friendly and energetic! Restaurant expensive and far below expectations.
Friendly and helpful staff with good house keeping. It’s clean, comfy and quiet. 10/10

Charming place to stay with very pleasant staff. Would highly recommend for a unique hotel different from the regular same old same old. Nice little continental breakfast. Great location to walk to Midtown or other venues downtown.
