"Great beachside hotel with solid food. "

"My husband and I liked the property very much... very clean, nice pool, very comfortable room; the food was delicious and the service was excellent. There is coffee and purified water available all day, as well as mosquito repellent and sunblock. The beach accross the street was covered with rocks, impossible to swim in, yet nice to sit at and watch the gorgeous sunset. There is a nearby beach - about 18 min walk o 5 min by car - for swimming. Electricity goes off sometimes at night and a generator kicks in right away. We would stay there again."

"There is no explaining in enough detail how magical this place is! The house was absolutely amazing, comfortable beds, cool AC, SO MUCH natural light but also you can black the curtains out for sleeping if you prefer. Hiring the chefs was so legit and Karina was an absolute GEM of a host and help. Cannot reccomend this place enough. Memories made to last a lifetime!! "

"Pros: beautiful property in the middle of the jungle, private beach, and delicious food at the restaurant. They were very kind to upgrade our room close to the beach. It was a beautiful 2-story villa with a kitchen, private pool, a balcony, and AC in the bedroom. Cons: lack of honesty and services Leading up to the trip, we received a few emails telling us about all the activities and services available in the resort. They offered complementary hiking and snorkeling, and we could pay for yoga classes, spa treatments, romantic packages, and activities such as surfing, hikes on Mombacho and Omepete island, etc. None of that was available once we got there. We asked the reception to book activities and they said they would call amd organize them. They never did. After a few days, we decided to book them ourselves through tour websites. We even asked them to call a nearby golfing course and they said they would. After 3 days, they said the golf course hadn't answered yet. My partner emailed the golf course and we got a response within 5 minutes. The staff at the reception were very kind, but not helpful and the lack of honestly from the management really disappointed us. The restaurant staff were always great and the service was excellent. The reception even gave us the wrong opening hours for the restaurant so we showed up late one evening. The staff were still there and were so extremely kind to prepare us a meal even after closing."

However, maintenance is lacking, with visible cracks on the walls and floors, likely due to construction methods. Some of the equipment are outdated, which slightly affects the overall experience. The pool, while a great feature, does not have a heater, making it quite cold at night this could be a downside. Technology & Connectivity: 2.5/5 Two of the TVs were not functional, and the WiFi signal was weak, which can be inconvenient for guests who rely on a stable internet connection for work or entertainment. This is an area where improvements are needed. Conclusion: This home rental has great potential due to its prime location and beautiful structure. However, the lack of upkeep, outdated equipment, connectivity issues, and difficulty accessing necessities make the stay less seamless than it could be. With better maintenance and minor upgrades, this property could offer an exceptional experience. Recommended for: Guests looking for a peaceful getaway close to the beach and don't mind minor inconveniences related to maintenance and accessibility. Almost forgot to mention: GPS directions provided by the hotel are not entirely accurate, leading to potential confusion for guests. Additionally, while there is a small town nearby for basic necessities, sourcing specific items like fresh meat for a barbecue can be challenging."
