Our stay at Hibiscus was perfect. The shuttle runs every ten minutes to the gorgeous Grayton Beach and, should you prefer to walk, it is only a few minutes. We stayed in the Tropical Birds room which was beautifully decorated and spacious. This guest house is lovingly decorated with an Old Florida feel. The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast is no longer complimentary at the coffee shop cafe next door, but it is well worth the price. I highly recommend the crepes. Overall, we highly recommend this Guest House for location, hospitality, and charm.

Place was awesome-very old Florida vibe. Fantastic location and very tidy. Would have loved a fan option. The only reason 3 stars is our neighbors were obnoxiously drunk, so only a few hours of sleep. Had we not shared a common area, would have probably been fine. Will try staying again b/c place was super cozy-just bad neighbors.

The area and location are great, but the magnolia room could use some revamping. We stayed during a cold front and there was no heat in the room, so we grabbed the extra blanket out of the closet. After laying it out on the bed we realized it was full of sand that was now in the bed. The ceiling fan also couldn't be on without the light being on.

The room was very small with dated furniture. The shower head was too low with a stool in front of the shower making it difficult to get under the water stream. The worst thing was the mattress. My partner and I both rolled to the center of the bed. Neither of us had a good night’s sleep because of the mattress.

Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse is by far, one of my favorite places on this earth to rest my weary head at. I travel often and Hibiscus literally presented itself out of the clear blue. Rooms are clean as a whistle, bedding was spotless and tidy, rooms are tasetfully decorated in that distinct southern island beach vibe. Every person on the staff...wonderful, fabulous, kind, the best of the best humans working here. I can't wait to return. More coffee times in the Backyard of Love! ♥

The room was small but perfect for quaint relaxing getaway. The room did smell like campfire smoke however it didn't bother us. The staff was super friendly expect the people in the cafe next door. It was expensive to us for the size of the room but it was an experience more than the room to be honest.
