Emerald Beach Resort

"The resort was clean and the employees were great. But the Cafe that had coffee and pastries was closed for the season . We went the last week of August. Also, the menu in the restaurant is very limited. We thought they would have seafood. The advertisement on the resort wall said, lobster, seafood , fish and evening specials. It wasn't anything like that. They had some fish sandwiches, hamburgers, taco's, and salads. So prepare ahead for food. Taxi service on the island is very expensive. And the taxi only take cash . Their prices are never the same. So be prepared. It cost 2 people 50 dollars to go down the island for an excursion. The 34 dollars to go back to the resort."

"It was beautiful viewsBut they tell you when you get there that everything is based off rainwater so you can’t use very much water we have to use bottled water for everything.The pool wasn’t working so it wasn’t an infinity pool. In fact it was extremely low.. the pool never got cleaned while we were there for before. There was a iguana all over the infinity edge and all over the property on the cement and tiles outside.We asked about some clean towels didn’t get a response right away. We asked about some other blankets and things didn’t get a response right away.The property is old. Some things are kind of getting worn out, but it’s still was a nice place."

"This was our first visit to STT, we had a family of 8 traveling with us, this house was perfect, very spacious and clean, the host was excellent, and very helpful and even reached out in advance to give us helpful tips about our journey. The view from the house was just beautiful. The swimming pool was very nice, especially after a day of running around on the island. I highly recommend it specially if you’re traveling with large group. This was definitely a memorable vocation."
The Beach House on St. Thomas with Secluded Sand Beach

"As stated by others the road in is extremely steep and curvy and very narrow (think golf cart path) but once you get past the initial trip it becomes less scary. The beach is totally worth everything. Your private beach has, its own huge reef with great snorkeling, They have all the gear (masks, fins, snorkels, floatation devices, and kayaks)There is a large fridge for drinks, and one for food. There are a lot of step ups and downs. So guests must be comfortable doing a lot of stairs. I’m not sure the photos accurately portray there are about 20 steps up to two of the bedrooms, 6 to another, and then downstairs another bedroom with 8ish more steps. We all used the outdoor showers and it worked out great! The grocery store was only about 10-15 minutes from the house and they had most everything. We used the grocery delivery service offered through the house and it was fabulous to arrive and be able to relax on the beach. Hosts are very helpful! Great house!"

"This property was everything we needed. Spacious bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, washer and dryer, equipped kitchen, private pool, and a closet full of beach stuff so we didn’t have to bring our own. The drive down to the property is steep, so a 4x4 car is a must, but overall we had an excellent stay. Beautiful ocean view. This place was perfect for our family of 6. I would definitely stay here again."

"Great stay! Had internet issues and the power went out, generator didn’t kick in and we had to move. The host did make accommodations though. I would go again just for the view!"

"This villa was amazing and truly part of what made our trip magical!! The location, the amenities, the views, and the space itself are all wonderful!! The house has everything you could ever need and Michelle is hands down one of the best hosts I’ve stayed with! The villa is newly updated and gorgeous! It’s located about a mile and a half from a grocery store which is nice. We loved being at the house so much that we switched plans and ended up cooking every night instead of going out. It also has a generator which a MUST in the Virgin Islands. The power went out no less than 3 times while we were there and the generator saved us! I can’t forget to shout out to Athena and Jack, the resident pups who made our stay even more special. Michelle, her villa and pets hold a special place in our hearts and we wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else on St Thomas! You won’t regret your trip here!"
