"What a great find! This hotel has a cool contemporary feel with stylish decor but not over fancy and boring or showy. The staff were always super friendly. The rooms (we had the standard) were spacious with big beds. The breakfast and dinner was amazing, we did half board which was worth it. They give you a voucher if you can’t make dinner but want to eat lunch instead in the pool cafe. My only complaint is having to pay €4.50 for water at dinner! At this nightly price I would expect free filtered water. Otherwise a great stay and would visit another of the PortoBay hotels again for sure"

"The hotel was very clean and was located on the beach. It was a short walk to old town where there were tons of restaurants, shopping, and bars. We had breakfast included, and there were a good variety of choices. There also was a restaurant and bar located on the third floor that had a wonderful view of the beach and ocean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. My son left his retainers at the property and we called and they weren’t able to find them. They contacted me via email a couple days later stating they found the retainers. I was very thankful they did this. They are going to mail them back to me. I would highly recommend this hotel as it had everything you could want for a beachfront hotel."

"Great hotel, exactly that you’d expect for the price. Right on the new town strip, yes it is loud, however that would be expected based on the location. Lovely pool, restaurant area. Really friendly staff, check in was super easy. Would definitely recommend a pool view room!"

"The room and location was actually spot on. View was amazing and cant beat a sea view with a sea breeze. Location is right near the beach, and shops etc... the reviews about noise from the strip I honestly wasnt affected at all. Occasionally woken up by a door slam but thats like most hotels! There wasnt any idiots around us which i suppose is a blessing near the new town. The staff were really nice as well, and apartments were cleaned every 2 days I believe which was nice. My only issue is the deposit of cash of 200 euros. 100pp which is alot and your left with 200 euros of cash at the end of your trip. There was ZERO mention on any of this from Expedia which I think is really poor. Overall the stay was exactly what we needed and room and staff were spot on"

"Amazing villa, location and service provided!Jim & the team was extremely efficient and helpful from the moment we communicated.Would totally recommend a stay here, we was a family celebrating a wedding (so don’t be put off reviews that are mainly from stag & hen parties, as we had 3 generation’s from 17-70!)Close to everything, 10 min to the beach, 3 mins from a spar & parade of shops and restaurants, 15 mins from the strip and also Aldi (great fresh bakery breakfast - opens at 07:30 and fresh croissants 3 for 1!)Large rooms - will explain the layout below as that was the only confusion, perfect for our FamilyMoon!Could do with a few more sunbeds (only 8) and outdoor chairs (only 5) but we worked around that… a little more shade or an extra umbrella or 2, but we bought a couple in the Chinese shop for 10.Lovely pool - pretty deep and didn’t need heating in July!Lots of kitchen equipment- very clean everywhere… we will be returning for sure!Downstairs are 3 bedrooms;One large bedroom with a king & single bed in that had a shower en-suite only, and then a toilet that could be used by all, or just the main bedroom (double door entrance).One twin en-suite (shower & toilet)One double en-suite (shower & toilet)3 put up beds to use wherever you need them!Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms One main bedroom with en-suite (Full Bathroom)One twin (shared full bathroom with shower & toilet)One double (shared full bathroom with shower & toilet)Thank you!"
