This hotel was absolutely stunning! I loved everything! The friendly workers, the spacious bathroom and bedroom. The jet tub was a hit with my daughter because she loves bubble baths. Safe neighborhood, beautiful gardens, everything was superb! The only downside is the amount of time it takes to get your security deposit back.

Should be great, but isn't

Hotel was obviously very beautiful when new, if you like the very elaborate and ornate style, but has not been well maintained and is now very dated and scruffy. I had to change room after the first night because the blackout curtain wouldn't pull and the shower was problematic. Front desk staff are great, breakfast staff verge on rude and really don't care at all; breakfast is supposed to start at 06:00 and they are simply not ready until 06:15 at the earliest. The buffet still wasn't laid out at 06:30 this morning and the manager just blamed a late truck. Given that they charge a lot for breakfast, that's not acceptable. Beds are very comfortable, shower in the second room was OK, but not really hot enough. My colleagues and I asked to speak to the manager about a long-term arrangement, (s)he wasn't available, we never received the promised call back. That was probably just as well, we won't be spending the next 7 months there under any circumstances.
