Salem in general was great. Everything you'd need was nearby. The Riverfront area had some homeless tents and a lot of trash on the embankments. It really ruined our enjoyment of the area and scenery. Loved that Silver Falls State Park was close.

Beautiful area and very clean. There are a few homeless, but not many. I felt safe and the people are very friendly. Oregon overall is such a beautiful state.

I love Salem but they need 2 move the homeless out of the city & into the rural land it's a nuisance & they leave a trail of destruction behind them! They should never hv the right 2 set up camp wherever. We pay property taxes they should 2

I'm sure Salem is a great place it seems safe and like a smaller neighborhood but I just wish it were greener so it felt just very flat and not very many trees at least not that I could see
