Actual chalet was lovely. Overall the place looked "tired", but was acceptable. There was no air-conditioning; only one fan in the loft that did not cool the entire place. It was a hot weekend. We could not spend time outdoors due to the hundreds of ladybugs outside (outside your control). The hot tub was a treat. Bathrooms: no handsoap at the sink in master bathroom. No shampoo or shower gel or soap in tub area and shower stall. One hairdryer in main bathroom that did NOT work. No hairdryer in other washroom. We had a wedding to attend and had to go buy one in town!!The kitchen area, though large and appearing to have all the basics was the area of most disappointment. No drip coffee machine! The stove top espresso machine was a treat until we realized there was the filter part was missing which made it essentially unusable! The "automatic" espresso machine was a treat until we made coffee. Not sure what the issue is...maybe it needs to be cleaned. It kept producing bitter coffee. Again, we had to resort to our own means for coffee. The 4 slice toaster produced 2 burnt slices and 2 didn't work. The cookie sheet was so old and disgusting, it was virtually unusable. Provide foil paper or get a new one! Only 1 measuring cup. Provide entire set.With some updates and refreshing, we would return.
