"The room is has a modern, chic look and was very clean, it was a delight! The breakfast box provided was also a nice treat. Just note that all the rooms are on the 2nd floor and there are quite a few steps to carry your luggage up and down if you bring any."

"Very clean and quiet place, lovely for a couples getaway. Peaceful setting to wake up to bushland and a fireplace as a bonus. We weren’t aware the microwave oven wasn’t working in our room so had to pivot for dinner. Other than that, a fantastic affordable night away!"

"We had a great stay at Balconies in Daylesford. The room was clean and bright. Waking up to the view of the lake each morning was so peaceful. The Balconies is in a very quiet area close to all amenities that you need with magical lake views. I highly recommend this place."

"The house is very old and consists of a number of separate areas where small groups could meet but with a very large common area near the main kitchen where the full group can be together for important moments such as meals/celebrations etc.The kitchen is very spacious with an excellent arrangement of items to make any meal option very easy as well as an external BBQ.Three bathrooms each with toilet made for a very comfortable stay also.Our visit was near end of winter and the heating option is excellent with the whole house readily heated along with individual control for all bedrooms and common areas.Although they can be noisy there is an abundance of birdlife attracted to the trees/gardens - Cockatoos, Kookaburras, Rosellas (mostly Crimson), Ducks and the occasional Magpie.The Host (Adrian) was excellent with very easy contact possible through web-messages or mobile phone."

"It's a nice little house within walking distance of the heart of Daylesford. It was well kept, very clean and had everything we needed. The host had left the heater on for us so that it would be nice and warm when we walked through the door. We had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend!"
