My room smelled of mildew & mold. The humidity could not be mitigated because the AC didn't dry it up (no wonder it was mildewy). The front desk person told me that he didn't have the authority to cancel & refund my 2nd & 3rd unused nights after I decided to leave following the first night. Thankfully & to their credit Expedia backedme up & sawto it that I could cancel & be refunded for the unused nights. The sleep inn's front desk person was telling me that I'd have to wait for his boss to get back to me. That was their position. He showed me 2 other rooms that had the same smell before I took Expedia up on their offer to refund me. I can't emphasize enough how happy I am with them for protecting their customer's from the red tape some of these hotels would have us go thru over issues on their side.
