"Comfy motel, nice people and easy to find."

"Can't beat the location, walking distance to everything in town. Room was large, kitchen well appointed, could have used a bigger more comfortable couch given the room slept 6 but the couch only had room for 3 but everything was clean and the staff were lovely."

This was one of the best motels we stayed at on our travels..A well maintained property.inside and out. Very clean, great bed and a nice hot shower with a great kitchen. Highly recommended. "The property location was lovely, however the bathroom is dated and needs work and I was left with a burnt kettle and had to boil water in a pot. The next day I was told there were plenty of kettles available so not sure why it wasn’t changed by housekeeping. "

"We chose to stay here as we’re arriving late and wanted just to dine in at their advertised restaurant and not have to go out. At checkin we were told that the restaurant wasn’t open as the chef wasn’t working. They still had a board sign on the driveway advertising their restraunt which I felt was misleading."

"I think this is a regular hotel for Blenheim; however, it was a bit like a motel park place. On the vintage side of things. The shower is no telephone-like and there were long hairs in the tub. The bed was very soft, but warm enough. There is no heating so it got a bit chilly overnight."

"This is an amazing location with wonderful views - unfortunately the weather was overcast and cool for summer so no stars at night. The rooms are good and maximise the views. Ok its not really five star but good given the location. I do have to comment on the food. A few tweaks could have made a big difference. The beef was beautiful produce but sadly overcooked. and I would not call a bowl of cold brocollini and sum raw baby spinach with a simple dressing a course. its an accompaniment. ...

We arrived early, and were pleasantly surprised to find that we could check in. We loved the wineries around Blenheim and would definitely come back to New Zealand just to stay here for longer. "
