"The room was damp, and moldy smelling. All the bedding was damp and wet. The pillows were visibly moldy and unclean. It was a struggle to get the staff to provide new and clean and dry bedding. There was no heat source in the room. The hot air blower provided was unusable as had electrical sparks during use. There was a light that flashed all night even though the power was switched off to the light. The manager and front desk staff only wanted us to leave so that they did not have to deal with our issues. We stayed one night, and moved to a different hotel. "

"Property is located near to mall road, though bit walking is required to reach there, overall it was comfortable stay. Food was excellent, very tasty, hospitable staff, vintage type property, Its one of oldest in darjelling well maintained."

"Everything was good expect the location. The hotel is in a ramp and sometimes cabs don't come till the hotel or they are not allowed. With kid and luggages it is very inconvinient."

Absolutely nothing was too much trouble, and when we were asked what we would like for breakfast on the evening before, we requested some things that weren't on their breakfast menu (We hadn't seen it at that point)and they went out and bought them specially. We honestly cannot wait to visit again."
