"The hotel had very nice rooms. However the rooms are very uncomfortable due to the lack of AC. They don't have fans available either. The self check-in was impersonal and difficult to navigate. If you are checking in after 15:00 no one is there. That is not a positive for a traveler. Breakfast was delicious."

"Comfortable hotel five minutes walk to Rhine Car park under hotel costing nine euros. Breakfast fine bacon eggs etc Main door closed at nine card open side door. "If the hustle & bustle of busy Cologne gets to be too much, the lovely town of Königswinter on the banks of the Rhine may prove a relaxing alternative. Das Hotel Krone is in the centre of town about a 5 minute walk from the train station. I’ve stayed here before and been very happy. But, it’s under new management/ownership now and the quality of the experience has increased a lot. The place is clean, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are wonderful."
