"Perfect place for a night stay. Nice and quiet. Newer, with clean and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. Free parking. While there is a restaurant on premises, there are some Hungarian traditional restaurants in the area."

Ludwig Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"I really enjoyed my stay at Ludwig hotel. The check in was fast and easy and the staff very helpful. Parking was free and the hotel was close to a train station that had frequent trip to Budapest. Hungary public transit and train services is not the most reliable but still was a better option than driving to the city. The bed, bathroom and beddings and towels were very clean and well maintained. The neighbourhood very quiet with grocery shopping and eating options close by if you didn’t want to venture out. The hotel bar and kitchen was also very good and I had daily Aperol Spirits. Breakfast was included and though nothing fancy, it had some good cold and hot options for breakfast. All in all very good option for staying close by to Budapest and I highly recommend the place."

Duna Garden Hotel

"Caveat: "We stayed in a room which hasn't yet been updated, so the other rooms might be better" The "AC" was atrocious, we had our 1 year old with us and we all struggled through the night in a sweltering room. There was no way (that worked) to control it so we assumed it was controlled centrally. The room was a good size but dated. The curtains let in too much light. The bathroom, in particular the shower area was mouldy and not what you'd expect from a 4 star hotel. However the toiletries provided were adequate although the towels were pretty thin. Breakfast was just ok, nothing to boast about and not worth €15 by any stretch. However the communal areas, the river views and surrounding area were beautiful to look at and walk around and the staff especially the Breakfast staff working today (17/05/26), were a delight, great with our 1 year old and very helpful and professional. So much so, it almost made up for the disappointing overnight stay."
