"The bar/lounge downstairs and the entire staff was delightful. They were helpful and friendly at all times and the caffe latte I enjoyed several times was the best I've ever had. The rooms however, fell short. They were probably large enough for one person with no luggage NOT two people on vacation with one bag and one carry-on apiece. The rooms had NO surfaces beyond a tiny one by the sink. Definitely too small."

"Royal experience in London starts at the Rueben’s! From The smile of the red coat clad doorman starts your experience off incredibly! The history of the hotel is intriguing. The velvet on the walls and upholstered areas are impeccable. The rooms are nicely appointed with large bathroom. The price is great! Cookies are in the room at check in. The breakfast is great with made to order hot breakfast items. The staff give great history lessons on the hotel and places to visit while in London! We will return ! "

"The staff were very friendly and genuinely interested in what we were doing during our stay. Check-in and check out was very easy. The standard room was very large compared to other hotels and everything was very clean."

"Location was great; everything else was NOT. They are like the cheapest of the cheap airlines that nickel and dime you for everything: $80 for a few hours of early checkin, $25 for holding your bag, no fresh towels or linens for a 5 night stay, no garbage removal, no coffee, no nothing!"

"We were asked to do without daily room clean and accepted a complimentary bottle of wine. As we stayed for 3 nights, I felt it was too long to go without having bathroom cleaned and bins emptied. Would have been better to be offered a part service."
