Disappointing Stay – Unacceptable Service and Hidden Costs
As a family that has stayed at many all-inclusive resorts, we were truly disappointed with our experience at this property. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was underwhelming, and the overall experience did not live up to the standards we have come to expect.
One of the biggest issues was the difficulty in securing reservations at any of the restaurants. It was nearly impossible to book a table unless you upgraded by purchasing a bottle of wine even at all-inclusive dining, which felt like a cheap and unnecessary upsell. To make things worse, when I sought help from a supervisor to address the issue, I was met with complete indifference—no one seemed willing to offer any assistance or try to resolve the situation.
When I fell ill during our stay, I had to visit the on-site medical doctor. While I appreciate the kindness of the doctor, I was shocked to be charged $350 for what amounted to a very basic consultation—taking my temperature, pressing on my abdomen (I had abdominal pain), and checking my blood pressure. At other resorts, such services are typically included as part of the guest experience unless further treatment is required. I was left feeling taken advantage of, especially for such a minimal service. Overall, this resort fell far short of expectations, and we left feeling disappointed and frustrated.
