This property does have potential, but unfortunately, my family and I had a very stressful and disappointing experience.
Before check-in, I was informed that a deposit would be held, which I was fine with. However, I was repeatedly asked to enter my credit card information into an invoice that showed the full amount—not just the deposit. After going back and forth, we finally agreed I’d handle it in person. In the end, they didn’t charge the deposit, which I appreciated, but the process was far more stressful than it needed to be.
When we arrived, we encountered several issues:
• The patio doors wouldn’t lock
• The mini pool (piscicuzzi) was dirty
• Towels provided were not clean
Communication was inconsistent, and I found myself having to reach out to two different contacts to address these issues. It took days for things to get resolved, and I spent too much of my vacation waiting around for someone to show up.
The worst part was the apartment flooding during the last three days of our stay. I had to mop several times a day just so we could walk without stepping in water. My kids slipped more than once, and we had to elevate all of our belongings to keep them from being damaged overnight. Maintenance came out the first two days, but despite being told a plumber would be sent, no one ever showed up.
To top it off, despite all of this, Expedia has been unable to secure a refund on our behalf. I would not recommend this property based on our experience!
