Everything was just perfect. Check in was easy. All staff were smiley and couldn't do enough for us. Our room was very spacious, warm and the beds were so comfortable.
Breakfast was really good-hot and plentiful. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend it!
All pretty good. Ok to check in during pub closed periods. Be aware, especially in wet weather, to go from thd room to the pub, you have to go outside. Good for security but dont recommend breakfast in your dressing gown!

Enjoyed our two night stay. Would have been nice to have a couple more vegetarian options on the evening menu. Vege cooked breakfast was good and the staff were lovely.
Spacious room.
Would highly recommend The Labouring Man
The room we booked was massive and the bed really comfy .The staff were lovely and the breakfast was really good and the dinner we had on the 1st night was all homemade and really good we definitely reccomend
A lovely stay. A nice pub, with plenty of outside seating, and nice atmosphere inside. Good selection of drinks. A separate dining area made the evening meal feel more like eating in a restaurant Vs a pub. The food and service was very good. Dishes or the day and the specials added to an already sufficient menu. Breakfast was also very tasty. We stayed in room #1. It was much larger than expected, and with a sofa. It was clean and comfortable. There is good sized car park at the rear of the property.
We left. No heating, room was very cold, we had to sit with anoraks on.. Hot water was stone cold. Couldn't wash/shower/bath.They said they "had heating problems" and obviously knew that long before we arrived. Being reasonable people, we gave them a few hours to fix it but it didn't happen very quickly. Very unprofessional. Hotel we went to was £25 cheaper and much better.
A gem of a place to stay and excellent value for money. Owners and staff are lovely - nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is very good and the attached bar/restaurant is well stocked and the food is excellent.
Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
Stayed for 2 nights as was visiting family in Coldwaltham. Delightful small pub just taken over by new crew. Warm welcome and brilliant staff. Clean & comfortable stay in a quaint local pub. Food was good as well.
Labouring man was a random "pick" from a list...... But what a gem! Lovely country pub offering great food along with lovely accommodation. They have 5 rooms and the 3 I saw were all spotless, and modern in style and facilities. It was very quiet and the new owners had time to chat despite trying to provide their regular customer base, and guests, all that they wanted.
We loved every second of our stay. The breakfast was fantastic and all the staff are willing to help with any needs. The restaurant was amazing for dinner and we loved every meal. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the local area was quiet and safe.
We were greeted by the owner and shown to our room, nicely decorated with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We asked about an evening meal and he booked us in which was a nice touch. The bed was springy but still comfortable. The shower was nice and we would recommend it for sure. Breakfast was adequate with the salmon and scrambled eggs better than the full breakfast. Orange juice was too sweet but the tea was good. For what we paid I would happily return.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Labouring Man We done an overnight stay as we had been to Goodwood Revival The staff and locals where very friendly The pub is lovely a proper British pub Room and breakfast was really good Would stay here again
