"Pros: The location was very good for our purposes. The room was great. black out curtains worked very well. Wonderful breakfast next door. Staff was very friendly. We would definitely stay there again. Cons: Our room was close to the elevator which seemed to be the morning gathering place for housekeeping. They were too loud for early morning. The air-conditioning was too cold. We tried to change it but just ended turning it off. It would be nice if it was located closer to other...

"Our room smelled of old Tobacco and we requested something small for our 3year olds bday (I’m talking small- a hand written appt birthday on a piece of paper small) and they didn’t even acknowledge it in the slightest. Not the best experience for the price."

"The staff was hands down the best I ever dealt with in any hotel I have stayed at. The girls in housekeeping were very very nice. The property overall is a little dated but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and will consider it for future visits. We were 20 min from boats 20-25 min to soldier field it's a great location if you want to go to the festivals or a concert nearby!"

"The room was very comfortable, and big for a downtown hotel. Bathroom spacious. Staff exceptionally nice, willing to accommodate and eager to help. Location is very convenient with plenty brunch places restaurants shops and pharmacies I will probably stay here again in my next trip to Chicago."
