"Beautiful, peaceful location. I did goof. i didn't read the house description very carefully and missed the part about the steep stairs. My cousin and I are elderly and accessing the attic bedroom was too big a challenge for us. But had we been younger and more spry, it would have been perfect. Well kept little cottage with a delightful history. Front porch and the cicadas and night falling was heavenly!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Coffee Grounds in Fancy Gap. Although there isn't a mountain view, it was quiet and peaceful. We loved sitting on the back deck and listening to the wind move through the trees and watching the visiting deer. The cabin was very spacious for the three of us, with plenty of room for more guests. It was clean, cozy, had everything we needed. There's a key card hanging by the door that can be used to open the gate. While there's no AC, fans were provided and kept us comfortable. Close to Mabry Mills, Mount Airy, and Pilot Mountain."

"Wonderful experience! Everything was so easy, and the cabin is absolutely charming. It’s perfect for somebody that just wants to really reconnect with themselves, enjoy family and experience some breathtaking views. The whole area of fancy gap, meadows of Dan and the small towns surrounding the area make it such a wonderful trip for those who like to explore., love art and music. We had an absolute ball. Darlene and Peter were perfect hosts."

"Wonderful stay in a beautiful place. We felt right at home. The only thing that wasn’t stellar was cell service but we were warned about this from the host ahead of time. On the plus side, it encourages you to unplug and enjoy the moments."

"Great cabin if you don't want anyone else around (we didn't). Great communication with Pam the owner. Only comments are the stairs leading off the deck are very dark at night....be careful. When the description says 4 wheel drive required, believe it. The propane grill on the property is not in the best of shape, but I always take a charcoal grill. Take some sugar with you to make humming bird food. There was an empty humming bird feeder that a humming bird was desparately trying to feed from but we had no sugar to make any. Would recommend."
