"Good location, very close to the ocean, downtown area, and ferry terminal. The property is an old house, so first impressions of the entrance is a bit shabby, worn carpets, etc. But, the room was comfortable and very clean. All in all, good value for money."

"We had a very pleasant one night stay in Douglas at The Claremont Hotel. Booking two rooms. We arrived early and were able to store our luggage at reception prior to check in. We parked our car over the road with free parking. The ocean view room was beautifully clean & tidy. The king bed was super comfy and spacious. We had a family dinner in the hotel, which was outstanding. Karen who served us was very professional, respectful and attentive. It really made our stay in Isle of Man a memorable one. Highly recommend. "

"Used accessible entrance on arrival via the breakfast room… poor signage, lights out and smelled of bleach.. not very welcoming. Stairs up to main entrance impossible with suitcases. Reception bright & welcoming when we found it. Room clean, but needs a refurb. WC flush took 10 mins to re-fill!! Three big windows with view of the beach. Spacious with ample storage. Breakfast average but friendly staff. Restaurant evening meal.. fabulous food but expensive. Coffee in lounge served in a pot & same price as a cup elsewhere. Bus stops outside… bus direct to/from airport. "

"I have just enjoyed a short stay at Kittiwake House. The apartment was exactly as described, with helpful information available about everything we needed. Well equipped little kitchen and a very comfortable two bedrooms. Beautiful views over Port Erin bay as we booked a sea view apartment. Clean and well kept, with a friendly welcome from the owner and manager and support and help if needed for any reason. I will return and very much enjoyed my stay. Thank you! "

"This is a nice house in a beautiful location, everything is clean and tidy. The lounge furniture badly needs updating and is a little uncomfortable, we spent a lot of time in there due to the poor weather. The kitchen is well reasonably well equipped.The bedrooms are large and spacious with comfortable beds and the bathrooms are modern and both have nice showers.All in all we would happily stay again and would recommend."
