We were in a sea view room and it was very tired and ready for a refurb very disappointing was the towels hadn’t been changed or the bathroom bin emptied
The breakfast was very good and available if you have an early start
Position is excellent
Nice size room, quiet balcony, modern bathroom. Pillows a bit firm. Good breakfast choice. Bar staff excellent, especially Joey.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The staff are very helpful and friendly, breakfast was plentiful and tasty.
Room awful, old dated scratched furniture, stains on carpets and couch, the sink had cracks , I went for a Antrim room as I thought they had been recently redecorated, room 405 had not, our view was a cream wall, and a skyline window that had flaking paint..definitely disappointing.
I would not stay again.
Great room very clean in the atrium next to the fish pond.

Generally a good hotel and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good.
Our family room looked very tired. In particular, the carpet, net curtains and bathroom sink need to be replaced and modernised.
Fantastic stay, room atrium room - felt like in the middle of a forest with a waterfall - very relaxing - staff could not do enough, real good breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back xxx
The room we had was lovely and more spacious than we'd expected which was welcome. There was a smell coming from the bathroom which we reported to Reception and were offered either another room or for someone to come and have a look at it. We opted for someone looking at the room and they did an amazing job. Breakfast staff were lovely as were the Reception staff. The parking was a bit hit and miss but if we arrived back at the hotel later than the parking restrictions there was usually a space outside and you could fix the time disc to start from 8am and could park till 10 am which meant you could see if a space was available then.
Friendly welcoming staff, great position on the sea front. Good breakfast, self serve, yoghurt, fruit, cooked breakfast, toast & pastries.
Small indoor pool.
Hotel a little worn in places.

The property is unique to its era and old fashioned which in my opinion suits the IOM and i find charming. The rooms are comfortable but no daily servicing of the room, meaning I had to ask for toilet rolls and clean towels during my 4 day stay.
It's location is excellent for transport for visiting the beautiful island.
The staff are very pleasant , friendly and helpful.Breakfast had plenty of choice and was very good.I thought an ordinary restaurant rather than a loud pub and Asian food restaurant which are attached to the Sefton would have been much better for the age of its guests.
Neither restaurant suited me and I had to eat elsewhere .As I didnt have my own car on the Island I couldn't travel to find a nice quiet eating place.I didnt use the bar.
