We only stayed one night here to break our journey south, but would be more than happy to stay here again. Lovely good sized room with air conditioning which was great as it was 35C. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ate in the Jacobite restaurant which had a good selection of meals on offer. We had a lovely breakfast the next morning with plenty of choices available.

Great value and good quality throughout. Room was a good size, well equipped and clean. Plentiful parking and gardens were immaculate. Restaurant was more of a pub style theme and good value with a good selection for breakfast for the breakfast serving.

The suite I was in was very nice and clean. The room was quiet and loads of parking. Would highly recommend. The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly. The lady that checked me out wasn’t that friendly and was more interested in other things. But would definitely stop again.

Room was lovely and warm. Great shower, excellent choice of TV channels, room service was a bonus and delicious and the breakfast was superb. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful and historic, the grounds are kept beautifully too. A great stay and would definitely stay again. Fabulous price as well!

Lovely independent hotel , ideally situated just off A1 for stop off stay ,great breakfast and welcome air conditioning . Good pub restaurant for evening meal . Great service it was nice to see local staff taking a pride in their job .

Friendly staff. The room was good size, huge tv, nice bathroom, comfortable bed and pillows. All amenities available - fan, air con unit, iron, tea/coffee tray. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the best that I have had in any of the overnight hotels that I have stayed in. Fabulous, will definitely return if I need to stay in the area.
