"The rooms were clean but there was no housekeeping available during the three nights of our stay. We had to ask for more milk and tea which was not a problem. No breakfast was available, but dinner was. This was of good quality for the price. The rooms are slightly tired, but probably suffering from lack of use during Covid restrictions. 10/10 Excellent

"Staff at Sandringham Hotel were fabulous after we found that the room we’d bought through Hotels.com was not actually available. I put this firmly at Hotels.com’s door and not the Hotel. They couldn’t have been kinder and more generous on the circumstances. We had no choice but to go with the only room that was available the first night two adults, one 12 month old in a kind size bed - we coped. Staff worked hard to get us moved for our second night to a great room. They were so helpful. Amanda - I think that was her name (receptionist on arrival) was fabulous and she spoilt our son. It was a wonderful touch, above and beyond when the mistake was not the hotels. Recommend Sandringham - perfect location almost opposite the Pier with plenty of eateries nearby too."

"They staff were very helpful and polite, how ever our room I wouldn’t personally say was £120s worth of room. There was mold at the bottom of the unit and looks like the roof was ready to collapse. Windows were blow so awful to look out off, cracked tiles in the bathroom and bath was also damaged. I probably wouldn’t stay here again as I feel I could have booked somewhere else and had a better room. Slightly unhappy as this was a getaway for my girlfriends birthday and the pictures online made the room look better than it was 2/10"

"No lift lots of stairs and corridors room small no colour, spa not very assessable as you have to go through the gym no gowns provided. Staff were polite and helpful breakfast ok quite a bit of choice Bar expensive no entertainment so very quite if u want that then good parking ok Good view wouldn’t visit again due to no lift and small rooms but dated"

"Had a 3 day stay at this lovely hotel / pub in the heart of Frome. We upgraded to a balcony room and were not disappointed - the room was huge and even better it came with a lovely big bath tub and a super king size bed!! Considering the size of the room, the balcony, huge comfortable bed, and secure parking we thought it was a really good price - much less than some of the other places to stay in the town. I am told the breakfast was excellent (I preferred a lie-in) by my partner. All in all very satisfied!! Frome was also a lovely place to visit for a couple of days!"

"On the whole we enjoyed our stay. The food really and staff were very nice. The decor was a little dated and the room smelt a little musty, which wasnt really a problem. I was looking forward to having a bath after a 200 mile drive. Unfortunately there were black spots around the corners of the silicon on the edge of the bath. Then I turned the taps on I went back to the bath to check on it and there were things floating in the bath. I emptied it a tried again. I did this 4 times. Every time there was stuff coming out of the taps. When I brought it to the hotels attention. Is all they said was that there was repairs going on in the street and it could of been that. This happened the following evening too. As regards the matter the hotel staff were not very helpful but they were polite. When your paying for a suite I would have thought that they would of been able to help us a bit more. I ended up washing in the sink. The breakfast was very nice. I would consider staying there again. Please dont take this review as all bad. Everything else about the hotel was very nice as were the staff. It was just that they wasnt helpful with one issue. If I was staying there longer than 2 nights I would have asked for another room."
