"What a wonderful place to stay! The room was beautiful. The bed was comfortable and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We loved how close it was to town. We also enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The Palm restaurant downstairs was nice to have on property and the food was great. We will definitely stay again!"

"Absolutely wonderful experience at this property! We visited from Manhattan with family and couldn’t have asked for a better stay. The house was spotless and private, the pool was gorgeous, and the location was perfect — close enough to the towns when we wanted to explore, but peaceful when we wanted to relax. Rick was incredibly helpful and quick to respond. Highly recommend!"

"Great stay !Clean, new house in a quiet neighborhood in dead end street. House as all the amenities you could ask for - coffee maker, TVs, dishwasher, laundry.Huge, fenced great for playing with our dog.Very large pool perfect for swimming and playing, and quite deep towards one end.10 min walk to bayside beach (Maidstone) - our dog loved it there too :) Highly recommended ! "

That said, the listing did not fully reflect the property--some furniture was different than shown and had stains, and a few bathroom and light fixtures were broken or missing. The A/C also didn't work well in some bedrooms, and the property wasn't as well-maintained as we'd expected. "

"Our family recently had a fantastic stay at this lovely home. We spent a week and couldn’t have been happier with the location and beautiful setting. The house is in the middle of everything, easy to get to East Hampton, Amagansett, and Sag Harbor. It was clean and comfortable, was well stocked (we cooked a couple of dinners at home and had all the tools we needed), and had plenty of space for our family of 4 and two dogs. The best part of the house was the backyard - with a great outdoor living space, a beautiful pool and plantings, and quiet privacy. We spent a lot of time out there! Markus & Kathrin were great hosts, providing us with a ton of useful information about the area before we arrived and were readily available to answer any questions that came up during our stay. We would highly recommend a stay here! "
