We had a wonderful stay at Adero! From check-in to check-out, everything ran smoothly. The highlight of our trip was lounging by the beautiful pool and soaking in the breathtaking views — it was incredibly peaceful and relaxing.
That said, the poolside service could use improvement. We often waited 30 minutes to an hour just to place a drink order, and once placed, it typically took another 30–45 minutes to arrive. On two separate occasions, we were completely overlooked and ended up walking to the bar asking for service ourselves to get served.
I had booked through Expedia and paid extra for a “Mountain View” room, but unfortunately, our view was mostly of the parking lot, with only a faint glimpse of the mountains in the distance — definitely not what I expected for the upgrade. I highly recommend choosing a room on the resort view side overlooking the pool; it’s absolutely stunning and truly feels like the kind of view the upgrade should cover.
My reservation also included a 20% discount at the on-site restaurant, CIELO, along with complimentary valet parking. However, when I reviewed my receipt at checkout, none of those perks had been applied. I’m not sure if the issue was on Expedia’s end or the resort’s, but the front desk staff handled it right away — they adjusted the charges without any hassle and refunded the extra bundle fees I had paid for.
