"Bad crack in wash basin General needs bit of maintenance Feel £100 is a bit much considering the above"

"Easy to find and helpful staff when we arrived early . Light flickering in toilet but sorted by staff straight away . Found previous occupants half eaten Chinese takeaway still in the bin in the room which wasn’t great . Reported to reception all very apologetic but should really happen if housekeeping being done throughly . Maybe they just had an off day . Colleague in separate room only had one towel in the room, no bathmat and no hand towel but as a sole occupant she decided not to complain as the towel for a shower was more needed . Also furniture in reception very dated and seating quite marked and stained . Would use again if I had to but would look for other options first based on this visit"

"Hotel was clean and staff friendly. It was very hot and room was unbearable at times due to lack of air con. Fan was provided but was inadequate. Surprised to be charged service charge on afternoon tea and evening meal on top of normal charges without being informed in advance. This considering we received our tea but no cups and then the food but no plates."

"The amenities for the price are great. It is all dated and the beds aren’t the comfiest but the value for money is great as they have a really well equipped gym and a decent sized pool which you cannot get for this price elsewhere. Interactions with staff were all great, helpful and polite. "
