"The house is in a rural location and the views of the Atlantic are breathtaking. If you want to relax in peaceful surroundings, this is the place for you! Inside the house, the décor and furniture are traditional but there’s everything you need for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning in the bedrooms was very effective, ensuring we slept well despite the high humidity. Furthermore, the kitchen is very well equipped and there are three bathrooms, each with a shower, which is incredibly convenient if you're staying as a larger group. We also found the house to be very clean throughout. The terrace and pool area are a real bonus. There's plenty of space and we spent a lot of time outside, making the most of the weather. Without a doubt, the terrace and pool area are the perfect place to spend your time.Our host, Emanuel, was communicative and friendly throughout our stay. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him and he was genuinely interested in our stay at his house. It really was a pleasure to meet him. If you're looking for a comfortable house in a rural Madeiran setting, my friends and I would recommend it without hesitation. For the price, you needn’t look any further!"

"This villa is just sublime! Beautiful villa, absolutely gorgeous location, well stocked kitchen, communication with Rui was excellent with very prompt responses. There was nothing at all to dislike. If you like privacy and seclusion, with fantastic views, then this is the villa for you.Short drive (15 mins) to a few supermarkets. Jardim do Mar is a village only a short drive away well worth going to see.Nothing negative to say at all about this villa, location, host, etc. Just superb!"

"Irina was amazing. The home was cozy and exactly what we expected. It was special to stay in a 100 year old school house. The neighborhood is near a Levada for a nice walk. It is close to Calheta which is a great place to swim and stroll. "

"Just returned from a lovely holiday in the amazing Quinte Marefe. The villa is very well equipped and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The views are lovely and especially good at sunset. There are some lovely restaurants/bars within walking distance. Roderick was the most amazing host, can’t recommend him or Quinte Marefe enough"

"We had such a lovely time at Almond Mansion in Paúl do Mar! We are a family of six adults and found the house so spacious and modern, really beautiful! We had absolutely everything we needed with some extra special touches that we really appreciated.Everything was lovely and clean, the check in process was super easy and the location very good for sun and sea and very close to everything we needed with a little grocery store just up the street, gorgeous cocktail bar and wonderful restaurants (Sabor a Mar ‘Fish Factory’ highly recommended!!)."

"This was our second time staying at Casa Farol. We spent three weeks here, the last two weeks in February and the first week in March.The house is very comfortable and spacious.We shared the house with our daughter and teenage granddaughter for one of the weeks.The house is situated in a small village on the southwest part of the island. The house has great views of the Farol lighthouse at Ponta do Pargo and cliff oceon views.The location suited us because it was quiet but accessible to many locations on the island.There is some building construction going on in the village but did not cause any concerns for us.The house is approximately one hours drive from Funchal. Within a short drive is a grocery store, several restaurants and a pharmacy.Orlando was very responsive and an excellent host."
