Beautiful B&B on a hill, but walkable to the bay and wharf and many dining options. The Bay Area is a little tacky with pin ball, casinos bars etc, but we had a very nice dinner at a spot called “Local” and it was walking distance to our lodging.

Cannot fault this accommodation. Room was clean and everything you required supplied. Breakfast was superb both in choice, quality and size. Alex and Maria were always on hand to answer any questions and make recommendations for places to visit or eat. Would have no hesitation in recommending

Great accomodation...

Very friendly people providing excellent service and cleanliness. The rooms were very comfortable and the breakfast was super. On-site parking and the garden at the back really added value to our stay. We lwill definately stay here again when next in Paignton.

If you are looking for B+B in Torbay then look no further. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast. Brilliant host's. Nothing is to much trouble. Comfy bed. Every thing thought of to the last detail.

Quiet retreat with great breakfast

Nice and clean rooms with good amenities. Free wifi that worked very well. To reduce food waste you fill out a little slip each evening, with your wishes for breakfast. And the breakfast is really great. Local fresh produce, and eggs, omelets, sausages etc. is prepared on the spot when you come in for breakfast. No wonder they won local recognitions for that breakfast. Very friendly couple (Alex and Maria) is owning and running the hotel. Two Beaches hotel is placed on a small hill, so expect a rather steep road leading up to the hotel from Paignton and/or the beaches. It's in a very quiet neighbourhood/location, which we appreciated a lot. There's no elevator in the house, so take that into consideration when booking. Paignton itself is maybe not the most exiting place to visit, but especially the southern beach is very nice, and there's good connections from Paignton to surrounding area.

Great breakfast and rooms in a nice area of town

We stayed for the Torbay half marathon and were extremely happy with the room and the breakfast and the service. Really great orientation about Paignton and beautiful room that was really clean.

Alex and Maria are wonderful hosts, admittedly new to the business, but certainly keen to enhance the guest experience. The breakfast is worth getting up for, and no need to get up at the crack of dawn to get it fresh, has everyone eats between 8.30 and 9 unless requested earlier. A very pleasurable experience we would recommend to anyone

Two Beaches has new Owners

if you want a good, clean, comfortable place to stay when in Paignton, you will struugle to find a better place than thw Two Beaches. The new owners (Maria & Alex) really look after you. Alex is an experienced cook, so the breakfasts are something to look forward to.

Two Beaches, two thumbs up!

We had a warm welcome from our hostess, Heather, after a long cold journey. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The location is very convenient with good walks in several directions and two beautiful beaches nearby. The breakfast was delicious and we can see why they have won a Breakfast Award. It was a very pleasant experience staying at The Two Beaches.

A traditional B&B but very well run by very friendly couple with an excellent breakfast and late night bar. Also very child friendly.

Good Overall stay. Hosts were very welcoming. Room was clean, if a little small (No table or desk to put a laptop on). Wifi did not carry to the rooms, not important if having a family break but we did want to catch up on a couple of things. Only slightly negative thing is that breakfast (and dinner) are only for 30 minutes with breakfast between 08:30 and 09:00 (You could stay after that as long as you arrived between these times). Note did say that it could be changed if notice given but not sure we felt we could. Would have liked websites to have pointed the short (and slightly late) breakfast period
