Top Oxford Castle Hotel Reviews

Mercure Oxford Eastgate Hotel

Mercure Oxford Eastgate Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Fabulous stay and we knew the hotel is an old building with restricted accessibility due to split levels, however we stayed in the new area adjacent to the rear carpark with my son who is a wheelchair user. Room absolutely gorgeous with adjacent wetroom which was perfect. We went to the front of the hotel to access a separate door to the breakfast room and warmly greeted by the staff with a portable ramp. Definitely will return as so central and hotel perfect for our needs."

"A modest hotel, very well located, extremely clean and well-maintained, in an excellent location. Staff were very helpful. My room was mall but very quiet and had a lovely view. Some of the printed materials are a bit out of date. Otherwise, very good."

"Warm welcome, spacious comfortable room, with everything you need. Food menu in the cafe was limited but good portions - and with the added bonus of free sweet and savoury treats for residents. Limited parking on site - but if you pre-pay you get a daily food allowance, so good value. And very easy 18-20 min walk to the town centre, including a nice walk along the river path."

The Randolph Hotel Oxford, a Graduate by Hilton

8/10 Good
"This is a lovely hotel. However, the floor plan is very complex. The room we had (and certainly not the cheapest) was on the first floor. Up to the first floor in the elevator. Up several steps, down several steps and then down 2 flights of stairs. This is definitely not accessible."

The Bocardo Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"By far, the best thing about our stay is how helpful the staff were. Even though sometimes no one is at the front desk, they are quite responsive. My husband and I had a big health scare while we were visiting. They took the time to help us with establishing a UK phone number, troubleshooting, getting to our care facilities, and even took the time to secure a room for us should we have needed an extra night. They were amazing!"

George Oxford Hotel

George Oxford Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"A great option for a quick 1-night stay in central Oxford. My top floor room was clean and comfortable, with a new TV, fan, kettle, water and biscuits. The bathroom was perfectly adequate, with a warm shower and towels/toiletries provided. No complaints at all - some of the reviews seem a little unfair. I appreciate it probably gets quite hot in summer, and there was a minor smell in the ground floor entrance hall, but otherwise all was OK. Very fast check-in which was appreciated given I was running late. You're paying for the location, and for that, it was good value."
